Standard health certificates are good for 30 days from the date of travel.

As of April 1, 2015, a current Coggins is no longer required to travel between Idaho, Washington and Oregon.  HOWEVER, A HEALTH CERTIFICATE AND INSPECTION BY A VETERINARIAN IS STILL REQUIRED.

FOR ALL OTHER STATES, A VALID COGGINS IS REQUIRED.

ALL HORSES MUST BE INSPECTED BY A VETERINARIAN WITHIN 10 DAYS PRIOR TO TRAVEL.

Coggin's (EIA )tests take 3 days (on average) to be shipped, read and recorded so please plan accordingly.  In an emergency, we can run a faster test but an additional cost will  be incurred.  Those can typically be back in 24 -36 hours.

When scheduling an appointment for a Health Certificate, please be sure to have the complete street address of the event or location you are attending.

Brand inspections are also required for interstate travel.

The local brand Inspector for the Wood River Valley is George Spencer  at (208) 539-0294.
